As SAVVY Collective enters its next stage of growth, we believe there is real value in creating more opportunities for hospitality leaders to share experience, challenge thinking and explore what comes next for the sector.

This September, we will be hosting a series of Hospitality Industry Conversations: The Future of Independent Hospitality across the Lake District, Liverpool and Manchester.

The events will bring together hospitality owners, operators, investors, advisors, suppliers and industry partners for focused discussion around the issues influencing the future of independent hospitality.

The launch of SAVVY Collective reflects the continued development of the business and the breadth of experience now sitting across the group.

SAVVY operates across five core areas: Management, Consultancy, Education, Events and Investments.

Each area has a different focus, but they are connected by the same approach: supporting hospitality businesses through experience, partnership and practical thinking.

Our work increasingly brings us alongside owners and operators at different stages of their business journey, from improving performance within existing operations to supporting new concepts, investment opportunities and longer-term development.

That breadth of experience gives us a clear view of the pressures facing the sector, but also the opportunities available to businesses that are prepared to adapt, collaborate and make informed decisions.

Independent hospitality has always relied heavily on relationships.

Strong partnerships can provide access to experience, create new opportunities and help businesses make better decisions.

For SAVVY Collective, this principle sits at the heart of how we work.

We believe strong hospitality businesses are built through the right combination of people, leadership, experience and opportunity.

Our September events are an extension of that approach, creating space for hospitality leaders to connect, share insight and build relationships across the sector.

Alongside the panel discussion and Q&A, guests will have the opportunity to continue those conversations over drinks and canapés.

Guests will also hear from SAVVY Collective CEO Steven Hesketh, who will share his perspective on the current hospitality landscape and the opportunities and pressures facing independent operators. Steven will also join the panel discussions across the three events.

Recently appointed Development Director Stephen Miles and Operations Director Marcus Magee will also attend all three events, giving guests the opportunity to meet more of the SAVVY leadership team, discuss the work taking place across the Collective and build new industry connections.

The events will take place across three locations:

Lake District10th September | Lindeth Howe | 3pm–5pm

Liverpool17th September | El Gato Negro | 6pm–8pm

Manchester24th September | El Gato Negro | 6pm–8pm

Each event will include welcome refreshments, canapes, an introduction from the SAVVY Collective CEO, an industry panel discussion, audience Q&A and networking.

As SAVVY Collective moves into its next chapter, we want these events to do more than introduce the business.

We want them to create useful conversations between the people shaping independent hospitality.

The sector continues to face significant pressures, but it also continues to create opportunity.

The businesses that move forward successfully will be those that remain commercially focused, open to collaboration and prepared to adapt.

We look forward to continuing that conversation this September.
